[Digital Today reporter Jin-ho Lee (이진호)] Huawei Korea said on Jan. 26 it will officially launch in South Korea its slimmest smartwatch lineup, the Watch Fit 4 series, along with its FreeBuds SE 4 ANC wireless earphones.

The Watch Fit 4 adopts a slim design with a weight of 27 grams and a thickness of 9.5 mm. It comes in three colors: black, purple and white.

The Pro model is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 30.4 grams. This is the first time the Watch Fit series has launched a Pro model. The Pro model features a sapphire glass display, a titanium alloy bezel and an aluminum body, and will be released in three colors: green, blue and black.

Both models feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with brightness of up to 3,000 nits. They can be used for up to 10 days on a battery.

The series also features the Sunflower Positioning System, which improves GPS accuracy, and a new barometric sensor. This enables precise tracking in outdoor environments such as climbing stairs, hiking and water sports. The Pro model also adds professional sports modes including golf, trail running and freediving. The golf mode supports course maps for 17,000 courses worldwide and more than 450 courses in South Korea.

Health management features include 24-hour heart rate variability (HRV)-based sleep monitoring, stress analysis and women’s health cycle management.

The FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, released alongside the watches, supports active noise cancelling of up to 50 dB. It offers up to 10 hours of use on the earbuds alone and up to 50 hours with the charging case, and provides fast charging that enables 4 hours of music playback with a 10-minute charge.
