[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Drone maker DJI said on Monday it will officially launch its first all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner series, ROMO, in the South Korean market.
The company said ROMO offers strong cleaning performance not only on hard floors but also on carpets and can go up to 200 days without requiring maintenance. It said the ROMO P model adopts a transparent design that reveals its internal structure, reflecting DJI's engineering aesthetics.
The company said the obstacle-detection system can recognise even a single card, as an integrated setup of high-performance dual vision sensors and LiDAR analyses the environment in three dimensions.
It works with the DJI Home app and supports setting cleaning schedules, real-time monitoring and sensor-based space management. It also provides cleaning strategies for different situations, including a pet-only mode, focused cleaning for kitchen grease and doorstep recognition.
ROMO P is priced at 1.94 million won, ROMO A at 1.79 million won and ROMO S at 1.59 million won, based on list prices. DJI will offer discounts of up to 291,000 won and provide about six months' worth of cleaning accessories free of charge through a launch promotion.
