S2W, a data intelligence company, said on Tuesday it has advanced key functions of SAIP, an ontology-based decision-making operating system, and is accelerating expansion into non-security businesses.
S2W said it plans to use the upgrade as a turning point to expand its market beyond manufacturing, distribution and finance, focusing on mission-critical industries such as defence, energy and telecommunications, and to strengthen its position in the enterprise AX market.
S2W also took part in the Microsoft Industry Summit held on Tuesday at COEX in Seoul's Gangnam district, where it introduced the upgraded SAIP features and industry-specific use cases.
Park Geun-tae (박근태), S2W's chief technology officer, said, "For enterprise AX to go beyond simple automation and lead to real innovation, AI must understand the context and work methods unique to each company and industry, and contribute to rational decision-making and its execution." He added, "With this upgrade strengthening SAIP's usability and reliability, we will broaden its scope of application to various industries that require complex and high-level decision-making."
