Jiranjigyo Security said on Sept. 30 it will launch MudScope, an AI-based Human Risk Management (HRM) platform that analyses employee security behaviour to measure and manage risk levels.

MudScope measures how exposed members of an organisation are to a given threat by linking actual employee security behaviour data to the proprietary MudFix Index (MFI) developed by Jiranjigyo Security. The company said it goes beyond checking individual behaviour outcomes such as click-through rates or reporting rates by reflecting real threat context, allowing consistent assessment of risk levels for individuals and organisations.

MudScope calculates risk scores for individuals and departments by combining various behavioural signals, including clicking on malicious emails, reporting suspicious emails and password management. Scores reflect factors such as the stage at which a threat reaches a user, training difficulty, time elapsed since past behaviour and whether failures are repeated.

Jiranjigyo Security has filed a patent application for the core MFI technology and is currently undergoing examination. It plans to develop MFI into a security behaviour evaluation standard that domestic companies can use, with the aim of expanding the HRM ecosystem.

Won-hee Cho (조원희), chief executive of Jiranjigyo Security, said the generative AI era requires a shift in perspective to view individual awareness and behaviour not as security weaknesses but as security assets that must be continuously managed and improved. He said MudScope is a platform that measures actual behaviour change beyond training completion and links the results to the next round of improvements.
