Small business financial solutions company Dailypay is expanding its early settlement service for small merchants selling on Kurly ahead of the Chuseok holiday. It plans to use funds raised from financial institutions to supply liquidity needed for inventory purchases during the holiday period.

Dailypay said on Tuesday it will expand its early settlement service for small brands on Kurly.

Kurly will operate its dawn delivery service through its own logistics network during the Chuseok holiday period, except on Saturday. As orders increase during the holiday, the burden of upfront spending on inventory purchases and management, and on deliveries, could also rise for merchants.

Dailypay will provide an early settlement service that pays sales proceeds immediately upon stock delivery for small brands on Kurly. The aim is to help merchants secure inventory or respond to additional orders without waiting for sales settlement.

Dailypay has operated its Kurly early settlement service since 2024. It plans to reduce the funding burden from settlement delays during the holiday period through its "immediate payment service", which pays out on the day of application even on holidays and at night.

Hae-woo Lee (이해우), Dailypay's chief executive, said, "It is important to resolve the funding burden that small business owners face during the holiday period." He added, "Based on our capability to provide immediate payments 365 days a year, we will help small brands focus on maintaining product quality and fast delivery."
