[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Data tech company BigValue held a meeting on Sept. 22 at its headquarters in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with the National Data Agency to discuss an AI-ready data-based AI transformation (AX) strategy.
The meeting was attended by National Data Agency chief Hyung-joon Ahn (안형준), Lee Sun-hee (이선희), head of the AI Statistics Innovation Division, and BigValue executives.
At the meeting, BigValue shared know-how on building and using AI-ready data that drives practical business results and introduced data-based AX processes.
In the public sector, it presented a “highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) risk prediction model” developed in cooperation with the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency. In the financial sector, it shared a case in which real estate price data and warning indicator data such as redevelopment zones and buildings in violation were combined and used for collateral loan screening by first-tier banks.
It introduced technology that refines large-scale real estate data into AI-ready data through the AI real estate consulting agent service “Bokdeokbang Gajae” and connects it to a large language model (LLM) to provide reliable, data-based answers. In a subsequent meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation measures that could combine the expertise of national statistical data accumulated by the National Data Agency and BigValue’s AI and machine learning data utilisation capabilities.
BigValue CEO Gureum (구름) said, “The success of AX ultimately depends on how precisely you prepare ‘high-quality data’ that business departments can trust and use.” He added, “Through continued communication with the National Data Agency, we will connect public and private data and contribute to promoting AI transformation across society.”
