KB Securities has introduced a service on its mobile trading system (MTS) that analyses customers' stock trading performance and expanded investor community functions.

KB Securities said on Sept. 21 it launched the investment performance analysis service 'Ggabio' on Sept. 18 on its main MTS, 'KB M-able'. It also unveiled 'M-able Community' after revamping its existing community.

Ggabio is a service that shows customers' stock-selling performance in the style of baseball statistics. It analyses trading results through metrics such as batting average, slugging percentage and profit-loss ratio, allowing users to check their investment performance and trading patterns.

For example, if 6 out of 10 sell trades end in profit, it displays a batting average of 0.600. Profitable trades are categorised as singles, doubles, triples or home runs by reflecting factors including return rate and profit amount. Loss-making trades are classified as strikeouts to calculate slugging percentage.

It also provides a profit-loss ratio, calculated by dividing average profit by average loss. KB Securities said it structured an 'overall investment performance score' that combines batting average, slugging percentage and profit-loss ratio so customers can review their investment approach.

M-able Community was revamped from a structure centred on posts by individual stocks to a method for sharing information based on investment interests.

The community set up five themed spaces: 'Korean stocks talk', 'U.S. stocks talk', 'asset growth know-how', 'Prime Club' and 'pension lounge'. It expanded the scope of communication so investors can share opinions and investment experiences by area of interest.

It also strengthened professional investment content. Major domestic asset management firms and university finance societies will provide content related to market analysis and investment ideas, and it plans to expand participating experts and fields.

Chief Executive Lee Hong-gu (이홍구) said, "This revamp is a service that expanded the digital investment experience so customers can review their investment performance and access various information." He added, "We will continue to strengthen investment information and services, and content that helps asset management."
