Even in finance, which is conservative and heavily affected by regulation, moves around agentic AI transformation (AX) are accelerating.
In particular, large financial companies are stepping up their push into AI. The four major financial groups put AI transformation (AX) at the forefront as a key task in their management strategies for the second half. After a start-of-year focus on stressing AI innovation, they now appear to be shifting the emphasis to execution, including adopting AI agents, reorganising organisations and innovating work processes.
Against this backdrop, a conference will be held where people can look at AI trends and key issues in finance.
DigitalToday will hold the Digital Insight 2025 conference at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on Sept. 29 under the theme of AX innovation cases and success strategies.
At the conference, experts working in the financial field will appear in person to share market trends and use cases.
Woo-seop Lee (이우섭), deputy head of Hana Bank's Digital Strategy Business Department, will present AI cases and trends in finance. Hana Financial Group is pushing AX as a core growth strategy for the group. It is maintaining a system under which the chief executive chairs frequent checks on key issues instead of holding a separate regular management strategy meeting, while strengthening competitiveness in its core financial business.
In the mid to long term, it plans to advance a groupwide common data and AI infrastructure and embed AI into key business services at each affiliate. It aims to expand the use of AI with a focus on sales sites and build a partnership-based collaboration ecosystem, linking it to changes in business and operating methods.
The conference will also feature experts from various domestic and foreign AI companies sharing market trends and use cases.
Tae-yoon Kim (김태윤), in charge at SK Telecom and a vice president, will share the latest trends in agentic AI and an agentic AI ecosystem strategy based on A.X K2 developed through the 'Dokpamo' project for its own AI foundation model. MegazoneCloud will present conditions companies need to adopt agentic AI, based on its experience from multiple projects carried out in the field.
Ki-dong Kim (김기동), a team leader at data specialist Encoar, will present an ontology-based AI-ready data strategy that enables AI to work properly at the event.
Ju-bong Yoo (유주봉), an AX excellence leader at integrated leisure, travel and culture company Nol Universe, will share the company's AX transformation experience under the theme, "A change that began where you cannot see, Nol Universe's AX transformation period." Sun-wook Kim (김선욱), managing director at Nvidia Korea, is expected to present on Nvidia's agentic AI ecosystem.
