AX transformation specialist InnoAX said on Sept. 14 its Japan unit has been selected as a supplier to a global automotive parts manufacturer.
The company did not disclose the customer’s name under the contract, but said its solution will be introduced into the client’s equipment compliance automation system.
The company said the selection will expand InnoAX’s Japan unit beyond finance into manufacturing.
It said the result reflects recognition of its technology, ease of adoption and cost competitiveness in competition with large global solution companies. It also said the ability for business staff to manage and change work rules directly without support from the IT department received a high evaluation during the technology verification process.
InnoAX established its Japan unit in 2015 and provided a solution to Sompo Japan’s next-generation system project, later expanding customers to include Aflac Life, Orix Life and Nippon Life.
Kil-gon Kim (김길곤), head of InnoAX’s Japan unit, said, "Japan is a market that requires a long time to build trust with customers, and over the past 10 years we have steadily had our technology and reliability verified through various businesses with local customers." He added, "We will continue to expand business opportunities in various fields and grow the Japan unit into the group’s core growth engine."
