Hancom said on Sept. 14 it is developing Nomadian, an AI workforce platform that implements a 3D workspace based on its proprietary agentic OS.

Nomadian will be offered as software-as-a-service that can be used directly on the web without installation. A beta version will be unveiled first in the United States in December, and a full subscription service is planned for 2027.

The company said Nomadian supports building and operating teams of AI agents, similar to hiring employees and assigning them work. Development is focused on AI teams organized by job role, a 3D office where work processes are visible, and keeping final approval authority in human hands.

Users can hire AI as if they were employees through Nomadian. If users choose needed roles such as data analyst, content marketer or email marketer, the work tools used for those roles are connected as well. If there is no agent to take a desired role, users can create one and deploy it to work. When a user gives an instruction in a single line, Nomadian breaks down the task and assigns it across AI team members.

The work process of AI employees can be viewed in a 3D virtual office called Room. AI employees move as characters, allowing users to see who worked how far using which tools, and to whom the output was handed over. Room remembers brand guides and work rules, so there is no need to issue the same instructions each time. The company said this differentiates it from chat-based AI that typically provides only results.

Hancom CEO Yeon-su Kim (김연수) said, "In the United States, there are more than 30 million businesses operating without employees." He said, "Nomadian provides them not just a simple work tool, but AI employees and teams to work with." He added, "Nomadian is a product that can be made because we have both core document technology accumulated over 36 years and our own agentic OS," and "We will open a market where individuals become companies, and set the standard for the global AI workforce market."
