Google Cloud unveils \'Agent Compute Engine\' infrastructure for AI agents

Google Cloud has unveiled an infrastructure service optimised for running AI agents called Agent Compute Engine, SiliconANGLE reported on Thursday. The service runs agents inside separate sandbox environments that include required applications, data and user instructions, and supports security safeguards. Google said the sandbox is implemented with microVMs and uses hypervisor isolation. It is built on a stateless architecture and an immutable file system, with Titan security-chip checks and CPU side-channel mitigations.
