Hana Bank to provide 100 billion won agreement guarantees for semiconductor materials, parts and equipment firms
Hana Bank said on Thursday it signed a business agreement with the Korea Technology Finance Corp to support small and medium-sized companies in the semiconductor industry. The two will create agreement guarantees worth 100 billion won for semiconductor-related small firms facing management burdens from prolonged high inflation and high interest rates. Companies using the guarantees will receive support on guarantee fees, with reductions and subsidies over up to three years.

Hana Bank will support efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of South Korea\'s robot industry. It plans to expand financing support for advanced industries by providing 9 billion won in agreement guarantees to small and midsized partner companies developing next-generation robot solutions and seeking to enter overseas markets. The bank signed an agreement with HD Hyundai Robotics and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund on May 20.

KB Kookmin Bank, KOSMES to provide 6 trillion won in productive finance support for Middle East-affected firms
KB Kookmin Bank said on April 12 it will run a 6 trillion won productive finance support programme with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. The programme, effective from April 13, targets SMEs and venture companies using policy funds and offers special interest rate preferences within the limit. Firms covered by agreement guarantees will receive additional benefits, including guarantee ratio and fee reductions. The bank plans to expand support for firms hit by Middle East-related logistics cost increases and contract delays.
