Poland crypto regulation stalled again as president\'s veto stands
Poland\'s lower house again failed to overturn the president\'s veto of a cryptocurrency regulation bill, leaving a supervision gap in place. Lawmakers fell short of the 266 votes needed to override the veto. The bill would have implemented the EU\'s Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation and given the Polish Financial Supervision Authority oversight powers. European crypto exchange ZondaCrypto in \'suspicious collapse\' as founder, successor CEO go missing
ZondaCrypto, a major crypto exchange in Eastern and Central Europe, has effectively collapsed, with its founder and a successor chief executive disappearing about four years apart. The exchange\'s website has shut down and its ZND token has lost 99.9 percent of its value, U.Today reported. Withdrawal delays have fuelled suspicions over operations and fund management. Questions have also risen over access to about 4,500 bitcoin the company said it held.

Poland has 2.5 million crypto holders, Bitcoin overwhelmingly preferred
About 2.5 million people, or 6.4 percent of Poland\'s adult population, hold cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin the most widely held asset, a survey commissioned by the National Bank of Poland found. The bank said the actual share could be 5 to 8.1 percent at a 95 percent confidence interval, or roughly 1.9 million to 3.0 million people. The Ipsos poll surveyed 1,000 respondents.
