Databricks launches streaming data ingestion service
Databricks has launched a serverless service called Zerobus Ingest for real-time data collection, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 23. The service allows applications to send event data directly to Delta tables without a message broker, supporting lower infrastructure costs and reduced latency. Databricks said the service can scale automatically without manual configuration and uses a single-sink approach to reduce maintenance burdens. It supports multiple APIs and SDKs.
