Pepe 60% surge renews talk of overtaking Shiba Inu
Pepe has surged more than 60 percent over the past week, renewing speculation it could overtake Shiba Inu in market capitalisation, a scenario dubbed a memecoin “flippening.” An analyst using the name Y00thereum said Pepe could surpass Shiba Inu as early as around April 20. A screenshot he shared showed Shiba Inu at about $5.32 billion versus Pepe at about $2.92 billion. Both later fell in a market pullback.
