XRP circulating supply 56 percent unchanged for over a year as short-term holdings share slumps
About 56 percent of XRP in circulation has not moved for more than a year, indicating a rise in long-term holdings. More than 38 billion XRP had been held for at least a year, rising from about 51 percent at the start of the year to 55.91 percent as of Oct. 16. On-chain data show short-term holdings shrinking as tokens shift into mid- and long-term bands, although this does not necessarily imply new buying.
