Bitwise\'s NEAR spot ETF wins first U.S. listing approval, trading seen around Sept. 29
Bitwise’s spot exchange-traded fund tracking NEAR won approval for its first U.S. listing, clearing NYSE Arca listing approval and the SEC’s registration effectiveness, CoinPost reported. The ticker is NRR and trading is expected to start around Sept. 29. The fund stakes all NEAR it holds and charges a 0.75 percent annual fee, with about 33 percent of staking income deducted for costs. Coinbase Custody will hold tokens and BNY Mellon will handle cash and administration.

OpenAI signs point to $500-a-month \'ChatGPT Pro Max\' plan
Signs have emerged that OpenAI is preparing a new ChatGPT subscription plan called Pro Max priced at $500 a month. The price would be more than double the $200-a-month Pro plan and 25 times the $20 Plus tier. Leaked website code and screenshots point to faster access to agent tools Work and Codex, with speculation about more memory and 100GB storage. OpenAI has not confirmed the plan or pricing.

Bill Gates said artificial intelligence is likely to unfold in two stages, with an adjustment period of about 20 years before broader productivity gains spread across society.
