Microsoft unveils Surface RTX Spark Dev Box desktop for AI development
Microsoft unveiled the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, a desktop supercomputer for developing AI agents, at its annual Build developer conference on June 2. The company said the device offers up to 1 petaflop of AI computing performance and 128 gigabytes of unified memory, and can run models with up to 120 billion parameters under 4-bit quantisation. Microsoft plans to launch the product in the United States within this year.
