SKT launches A. log photo record service for AI glasses

SK Telecom launches a photo-based record service, A. log, in its A.dot app, the company said on Aug. 31. The service uses AI to analyse information in photos and automatically generates titles, descriptions and tags, enabling users to search by time or keywords and group related records. It supports all Meta AI glasses models, including Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, and works on Android smartphones. Photos are stored only on users’ devices, with sensitive information automatically masked.

Bitcoin wallet industry faces disruption as standard interface support ends

A standard interface linking Bitcoin Core to hardware wallets, HWI (Hardware Wallet Interface), is effectively moving toward an end-of-life phase, CryptoSlate reported. The maintainer said HWI has long been in maintenance mode and will stop accepting new devices or features beyond MuSig2 work. A Rust-based successor candidate, BHWI, has not shown practical deployments. Wallet developers that package or invoke HWI are expected to shoulder the immediate burden.

LG Hellovision staff trio reshape the company\'s social media

Three LG Hellovision employees are appearing in the company’s official social media content, creating short-form videos built on memes and workplace themes. The trio said no one ordered them to go on camera, but they began appearing after finding limits with outside performers. Their content helped boost Instagram followers from 856 in January last year to 10,746 as of August and shifted engagement toward younger users. The company also receives customer inquiries through direct messages.
