Tmap data shows \'hip Buddhism\' boom lifts visits to Bulguksa, Naksansa and other temples
Tmap Mobility said on Thursday that demand for visits to Buddhist temples has risen for three consecutive years based on its driving data analysis. From 2023 to 2025, it analysed the top 1,000 destinations and found temple destination settings last year rose 26.9 percent from a year earlier and 55.9 percent from 2023. Bulguksa ranked first, followed by Naksansa and others. Temple-stay participation and interest in Buddhist cultural events also increased.
