Microsoft reorganises into two divisions, will disclose quarterly Azure revenue

Microsoft will disclose quarterly revenue for its Azure cloud business for the first time, alongside a reporting overhaul that reduces its business units from three to two. The change will allow investors to compare Azure performance more directly with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. Under the new standard, Azure revenue for the quarter ended in June was $29.42 billion, up 42 percent year on year, and about 33 percent of total Microsoft revenue.
