Apple moves to secure Samplab audio startup technology
Apple has pursued a deal to secure technology and staff from Swiss AI audio startup Samplab, according to an EU filing disclosed later. The filing said Apple, via a subsidiary, would acquire some of Samplab’s assets and planned to hire some employees. Financial terms and the number of hires were not disclosed. Samplab develops AI music editing tools, including chord detection and editing, tempo and key matching, and stem separation.
