KT applies 5G SA network slicing at Seoul World Fireworks Festival

KT applied 5G standalone (SA)-based network slicing at the Seoul World Fireworks Festival 2026 to operate a communications network for safety management. The company ran 25 wireless CCTV units and 10 emergency contact devices and transmitted video in real time to a control centre. KT said the safety network was separated from general user traffic, helping maintain communications even in congestion. KT plans to expand network slicing use.

Strive increased its bitcoin holdings to 23,156 BTC, rising to fifth among listed companies, CoinPost reported. CEO Matt Cole (매트 콜) said the company could become the world’s No. 2 public bitcoin holder by end-2026, though not as a base case. He called $250,000 price targets conservative and said bitcoin could reach $500,000 to $1 million around 2030. The company said it avoided convertible-bond funding and issued over $700 million in warrants.
