Uber to buy Delivery Hero for 22 trillion won, bringing Baemin under its wing
Uber will acquire Germany-based delivery platform Delivery Hero for about $14.8 billion, bringing Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok, under Uber. Uber will pay 41.5 euros per share in cash through a tender offer, valuing the company at about $14.8 billion. Excluding Uber’s existing stake, the purchase is about $13.7 billion. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027 after regulatory reviews.
