Putin envoy outlines plan to discuss data centre projects with U.S. after diesel deal
A Russian envoy said the United States and Russia are discussing cooperation on data centre infrastructure following a deal on supplies of Russian diesel fuel. Kirill Dmitriev said the two sides are talking about joint data centre projects and raised the possibility of building facilities using small nuclear power plants. The comments come as sanctions on Russia continue over the war in Ukraine and as data centres become a political issue in the United States.
