Volvo teams up with Nvidia to develop next-generation assisted driving system
Volvo is developing an assisted driving system using Nvidia\'s AI technology that would allow drivers to travel from a starting point to a destination without holding the steering wheel. It aims to broaden support beyond highways to complex city environments and pursue commercialisation before 2030. The system is designed to make driving decisions and control steering, acceleration and braking, while requiring drivers to continuously monitor surroundings and intervene when needed.
