Tokenised stock trading platform cannot guarantee prices or trade disclosures, notices show
Major U.S.-listed companies have moved to block a tokenised stock trading platform being prepared by crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, according to a blockchain media report. Verizon, Broadcom and UnitedHealth Group were among nine companies objecting to their shares being traded on the platform. The notices did not specify reasons or whether objections would lead to delisting. The platform is not a registered SEC exchange and is not subject to Regulation NMS, with trading and smart-contract upgrades also constrained by rules in the notices.
