Snapdragon Summit 2026: \'AI voice bubble\' filters only the speaker\'s voice in calls
On-device AI in smartphones can now remove shouting and clapping from a few steps away and send only the voice of the person speaking in front during a call. In a demo room at Snapdragon Summit 2026 in Maui, Hawaii, speech in Korean and English spoken within about a 1-metre radius of the phone was delivered to the other side, while sounds from outside were not heard. Qualcomm links the capability to agentic AI and voice-based assistants.
