Kakao Entertainment integrates three story subsidiaries to strengthen IP pipeline
Kakao Entertainment said on Aug. 14 it will integrate three subsidiaries in its story business: Samyang C&C, Intime and Pilyeon Management. The companies decided on the merger at board meetings on Aug. 12 and aim to complete the procedures within the year. The merger involves wholly owned subsidiaries, and the combined entity will keep the Samyang C&C name. Samyang C&C CEO Cha Seong-taek will lead the integrated company.
