CNBC reported that rare cards trade for millions of dollars, while even regular products repeatedly sell out after release and are resold. Data cited by Collectors, which owns grading firm PSA, show prices rose 282% from 2004 to 2020 and jumped 1,350% since 2020, drawing short-term traders and ultra-wealthy demand.

Apple is reported to be considering a variable-aperture camera and a teleconverter for telephoto shooting on the iPhone 18 Pro. A leaked account said the variable-aperture camera is at the engineering-sample stage and that Apple is reviewing a teleconverter. The optical accessory, common in DSLR cameras, could improve medium- and long-range image quality and, combined with a variable aperture, help manage light loss, exposure and depth of field. Some features may be dropped before mass production.
