U.S. Homeland Security breached again; data on 40,000 staff exposed, including surveillance technology use
Hackers stole personal data on about 40,000 employees of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and published it online, TechCrunch reported. The leaked information included names, titles, email addresses, mobile numbers and office locations, including border and immigration enforcement officers, cybersecurity staff and senior officials. The hacker said the data was taken from an Okta single sign-on system and was also provided to DDoSecrets.
