Platform industry to update self-regulation principles for search and recommendation services as AI spreads
South Korea\'s platform industry will update self-regulation principles for search and recommendation services in response to the spread of AI. The updated principles will reflect new risk factors such as AI model changes, supply interruptions, data processing and responsibility structures, and the industry plans to continue compliance checks. A Ministry of Science and ICT-supported platform self-regulatory body held a meeting in Seoul attended by platform firms, advisers and OpenAI and Anthropic.
