Banned AI use secretly common among office workers, survey finds
A PagerDuty survey found office workers widely use AI tools banned or not approved at their companies. TechRadar reported that 66 percent of office respondents said they used unapproved AI for work, rising to 72 percent at companies with 1,500 or more employees. Many respondents said they would not disclose AI use, and some admitted entering emails, work data and customer information into public AI systems.

Anthropic AI costs soar, corporate clients complain they cannot predict bills
More companies are feeling the burden as Anthropic raises prices for its AI tools, with some saying costs are hard to predict. The Information reported that Anthropic customers such as PagerDuty and ServiceNow cannot forecast this year’s spending, and ServiceNow has already used up its annual budget. Executives said Anthropic does not automatically provide detailed employee-level usage data or service-level agreements covering performance and support response times.

Vibranium Labs enters South Korea with AI agent-based SRE incident response platform
U.S.-based Vibranium Labs, which runs the AI agent-based SRE incident response platform Vibe AI, said on May 7 it is stepping up its business in South Korea. The company says Vibe AI can replace on-call tools such as PagerDuty by having AI agents handle the full process from paging engineers to root-cause analysis and response plans. It also said the system uses 13 or more agents and has achieved over 95 percent triage accuracy.
