Unity releases Unity 6.6 to improve development and build speeds
Unity has officially released Unity 6.6, updating development workflows, content management and graphics performance. It is the last non-long-term support version ahead of Unity 6.7 LTS due in the fourth quarter, and includes key components of a new coreCLR. The release adds Fast Enter Play Mode, a new Content Directory, expanded build analysis, 2D and graphics features, UI updates, broader platform support including WebGPU, and new security signing for .unitypackage files.
