Anthropic launches Claude Cowork with role-based access control and MCP permissions management
Anthropic has launched Claude Cowork, an AI agent tool for non-developers, The New Stack reported on April 9. The tool is available across all paid Claude plans, including Pro, Team and Enterprise. Included in the Claude desktop app, it supports end-to-end work such as documents and spreadsheets. The enterprise release adds role-based access control, finer MCP tool permissions, usage analytics, OpenTelemetry exports and a Zoom MCP connector.
