Olo launches app with in-store prices to challenge DoorDash, Uber Eats
U.S. restaurant ordering software company Olo has launched a food delivery app that offers the same menu prices as in stores. The company is positioning the service as an alternative to existing platforms, saying orders can be placed without menu markups. Olo said customers could save 15 to 30 percent, though it said savings are not guaranteed. Users pay a network fee of 5 percent of the order, and delivery fees may apply.
