Kakao ties up with Lotte Mart-Super to launch online grocery service this year
Kakao said on Thursday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Lotte Mart-Super to strengthen competitiveness in online grocery shopping. The companies plan to start an online grocery service on Kakao Shopping within the year, combining fresh food products and delivery capabilities. They also plan to promote cooperation linking online and offline operations, including driving visits to physical stores via KakaoTalk channels and offering benefits to members of both companies.
