KB Financial chairman Yang Jong-hee calls for faster business model shift using AI
KB Financial Group is pursuing an AI technology-based shift in its business model and expansion into new markets. The group held a first-half workshop on Jan. 9 attended by Chairman Yang Jong-hee and about 260 executives. It discussed the ONE KB WM strategy and broader support for SMEs beyond lending. External speakers gave lectures on the economy and AI-era topics. Yang urged staff to use AI as a strategic weapon and focus on customers and trust.
