Open Data Institute and SAP to launch programme for AI-ready enterprise data infrastructure
The Open Data Institute (ODI) and SAP will launch the IDEA (Interchange for Data and Enterprise AI) programme to help convert corporate data infrastructure into forms suitable for AI. The partners aim to develop open standards through research, building an independent governance system and running a community. The initiative starts from common challenges companies face, as much enterprise data is structured for human use and is hard to feed into AI systems.
