U.S. museum acquires \'Nintendo PlayStation\' console prototype
The National Videogame Museum in Frisco, Texas, said it has acquired the \'Nintendo PlayStation\', a legendary console prototype. The device, code-named MSF-1, is believed to be the oldest known Nintendo PlayStation hardware artifact and may be the only unit in existence, the museum said. The project began as a Nintendo-Sony collaboration in the early 1990s but ended after Nintendo withdrew and pursued a deal with Philips.
