Cisco unveils new networking chip, liquid-cooled switch aimed at AI
Cisco has unveiled new networking chips and systems to support AI infrastructure, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 10. The Silicon One G300 is a 102.4 Tbps ethernet switching chip designed for large AI clusters and will be used in new Nexus 9000 and Cisco 8000 switching platforms with air and liquid cooling options. Cisco also announced a liquid-cooled switching system and said it updated its Nexus One management platform to unify operations.
