Buterin rejects AI-driven 50 percent Bitcoin crash warning, citing crypto-heavy net worth
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin (비탈릭 부테린) has pushed back against a prediction that artificial intelligence could drive Bitcoin down more than 50 percent within two years. AI risk analyst Liron Shapiro (리론 샤피로) put the probability of such a decline at 50 percent, arguing AI could undermine security assumptions by finding hard-to-detect vulnerabilities at scale. Buterin said most AI-driven security issues would be manageable and fixable, noting about 90 percent of his net worth is invested in cryptocurrencies.
