Minimal fold phone \'Light Flip\' debuts to cut social media and infinite-scroll addiction
A minimal fold phone that excludes social media and infinite-scroll apps is set to debut, targeting users who want to cut smartphone addiction and focus on calls and texts. U.S. startup Light is developing the Light Flip and aims to launch it in April 2027. The device uses a keypad-based interface and offers limited essential tools. Light will sell it bundled with cellular plans, including a $39 a month option.
