LG CNS mathematical optimization contest draws 958 teams from 55 countries
LG CNS said on Sept. 20 it held the global mathematical optimization competition \"Optimization Grand Challenge 2026\". The contest drew 958 teams and 1,448 participants from 55 countries, up from 343 teams and 676 people last year. This year’s task focused on shipyard block placement optimization. After preliminary and main rounds, six teams presented their algorithms in a final in South Korea, and a Japan-based team won the top prize.
