\"A path appears through the smoke\" - Korea Railroad Research Institute develops smart evacuation guidance system
The Korea Railroad Research Institute said on April 10 it conducted an experiential test of a \"smart evacuation guidance system\" it developed to provide continuous evacuation guidance in large spaces at Lotte Global Logistics\' central mega hub terminal. The \"Smart Guide\" device, developed with Choice Technology under a transport ministry R&D project, can be magnetically attached to rack structures and uses laser diodes to mark arrows on floors. It also supports wireless control, low-power operation, sensors and AI voice recognition.
