Retail money pours into Korea Investment Management space ETF ahead of SpaceX listing, 60 billion won net buying
Retail investors in South Korea have been pouring money into domestic space-themed exchange-traded funds ahead of a SpaceX listing, with demand concentrating on an active ETF seen as able to receive IPO allocations. Korea Investment Management said net buying by retail investors in its ACE US Space Tech Active ETF over the past month topped 60 billion won. The firm said it plans to raise SpaceX’s weighting in the ETF to as much as 25 percent through additional purchases.

Korea Investment Trust Management will participate in SpaceX\'s initial public offering and plans to add allocated shares to a space-technology exchange-traded fund and a public fund it manages. The company said it will join the IPO ahead of SpaceX\'s planned listing on June 12 local time. It also plans additional purchases on the listing day and aims to raise SpaceX\'s weight in its ACE U.S. Space Tech Active ETF to as much as 25 percent.
