KB Kookmin Bank restores urban ecosystem with Changgyeonggung palace forest
KB Kookmin Bank said on April 5 it announced results of its \"KB Green Wave\" palace forest project at Changgyeonggung, timed to Arbor Day. The public-private ESG initiative aims to restore green space in historic and cultural sites in the city. The bank said it created and managed 2,860 square metres of forest over three years, planting 550 trees and about 9,900 flowering plants, selecting 14 suitable tree species and removing invasive species.
