Ex-U.S. national security official says bombing data centres should be considered to stop China AGI development
A former U.S. national security official argued the United States should prepare responses, including cyberattacks and possible physical strikes on Chinese AI data centres, if China could develop artificial general intelligence first. In a document titled “Superpowers and AGI,” Jacob Stokes said Washington should examine measures in advance to prevent China from securing AGI. He described physical attacks as the most dangerous option and warned of uncertainty and risks of escalation.
