Rising AI token costs boost role of desktop PCs

As companies respond to rising cloud costs and concerns over data sovereignty by adjusting where AI computing is done, business PCs are drawing attention as endpoints for local inference. Dell Technologies said the spread of agentic AI is changing the role and criteria for AI PCs. Dell cited token costs as a key driver, saying agentic workflows can quickly raise cloud API costs. Executive Rob Bruckner said inference often does not require top-tier performance and AI PCs can help firms control token budgets.

SynFutures vows to compete with most open and easiest derivatives trading platform

SynFutures has entered the blockchain-based derivatives exchange market, pitching decentralisation as its core strategy amid competition from existing decentralised venues and large centralised exchanges. Co-founder Mark Lee says the platform will allow permissionless token listings with minimum safety requirements, and uses a hybrid order book and AMM model. SynFutures plans to build and migrate to its own mainnet to improve speed and user experience, while keeping token governance with holders. It is initially targeting developing countries and is unavailable to U.S. users.

Netmarble\'s Seven Deadly Sins: Origin adds sound features for visually impaired players

Netmarble is adding dedicated sound accessibility features to its open-world RPG in development, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, after accepting suggestions from a visually impaired user overseas. The company said the game now includes a sound class for visually impaired and low-vision players, offering warning tones for monster attacks and low health and special effects to locate treasure chests. Netmarble also plans updates for object guidance via voice or alerts.
