Samsung Electronics to launch agent-type Galaxy Buds On
Samsung Electronics is preparing to launch Galaxy Buds On, clip-on wireless earbuds designed to work as an AI agent-linked device. The company says the earbuds do not block the ear and are built for long wear, with a shape-memory alloy band and sensors that automatically assign left and right. Paired with Galaxy AI-supported phones or tablets, users can launch Gemini Live by voice and use Bixby to search recorded memos. Head gestures support call pickup and alarm control, with some functions limited to One UI 9.0 or later.

European telecoms seek independent satellite network to counter Starlink
Major European mobile operators are moving to jointly build satellite communications services to counter Starlink, operated by Elon Musk\'s SpaceX. Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica and Vodafone have signed a letter of intent to consider a joint bid for European MSS spectrum. The plan focuses on direct-to-device services linking smartphones to satellites for coverage in remote areas and disaster sites, while partners would supply satellites.
